The Salyers Jeff Moore JM103 Medium Hard Marimba Mallet features a large weighted core on a birch shaft wrapped in a very durable nylon. This mallet is a great all purpose mallet in that it functions in both delicate and aggressive pieces with control and response. All models work equally well on the concert stage as on the marching field.
